Public life cycle assessment data is unavailable for AVITERA® SE. However, Huntsman quotes results from an example mill in Asia that it worked with to improve resource efficiency. By auditing the mill and optimising processes and dye recipes to “best available technology”, carbon (CO₂) and water savings of around 30% were achieved within the mill [1].

Huntsman estimates that by implementing their AVITERA range (shown on the figure as “new technology”), carbon and water savings of 62% could be achieved compared to the “before audit” baseline.
