Producing UK clothing from recycled nylon offers a potential 21% reduction in carbon emissions compared to the use of virgin nylon. The LCA used for calculating this reduction refers to an open loop chemical recycling of post-industrial nylon 6 waste (e.g. fishing nets, carpet offcuts). [1]
