Case study

WRAP worked with IKEA UK & Ireland to pilot a textile take-back service in its Cardiff store. The service provided support for the community by giving people the opportunity to bring in any unwanted textiles – from clothing to soft furnishings – to be re-used or recycled through the charity YMCA. In-store repair workshops also helped customers revive their old textiles. It is intended that this service will be scaled up and progressively rolled out across IKEA UK & Ireland stores.
