Imaginative existing user habits, such as repair, adapt, share and pass on, can be shared to inspire and propose global solutions to problems associated with the consumption of fashion.
Local Wisdom is a project developed by Dr Kate Fletcher, Reader in Sustainable Fashion at the Centre for Sustainable Fashion, London College of Fashion, that explores satisfying and resourceful user practices, by asking members of the public in seven centres of high fashion consumption across three continents, to share items of clothing and associated practices, through a series of community photo shoots.
